Dental and/or gingival sensitivities may occur, most of the time they are reversible.
Do not hesitate to take paracetamol or ibuprofen: unless contraindicated!
For sensitivities, apply an anti-sensitivity gel to the gums in the morning after removing the aligners .
After bleaching, the color may vary for a few more days and the small whitish spots sometimes observed will disappear.
For the first hour after applying the whitening gel, do not eat anything or drink anything other than water.
For 48 hours you must avoid:
• colorful fruits, especially red ones
• red wine, rosé, etc.
• red, colored vegetables (beets, carrots, etc.)
• drinks such as tea or coffee
• eating too hot
• eating too cold
• putting on lipstick
• smoking
• chewing chewing gum
• eating candy
• making colored mouthwashes
• taking coloring medications (iron)
And after…
To keep your smile beautiful, you must brush your teeth after each meal, at least morning and evening and if possible after drinking coffee or tea.
You should avoid smoking because nicotine greatly yellows your teeth.
Floss regularly to remove debris from between teeth.
